USES

Eyes are organs of vision that detect light.

The symbology behind them has been a topic of intense discussion throughout history. Their enigmatic, sultry nature has seduced poets and painters, philosophers and mathematicians alike. There is something incredible, non-human it would seem, inherited in the eyes; something so perfect, capable of summarizing all languages in a single glance.

The purpose of this research is to further understand the eye within the context of history, as well as to relate its meaning to the main concepts we have dealt with this term: dystopia, fear, and architecture in film.
