The Umbra Headquarters was awarded an Honourable Mention in the 2000 City of Toronto Architecture and Urban Design Awards. Other awards include an ID Award of Excellence as well as An OAA Award of excellence as well as an OAA Plachta Award for best project in Ontario in that award year. It is the only Canadian project chosen for the international compendium Architecture Now! Volume 2.
