Fritz Lang's Metropolis Fritz Lang’s Metropolis is told from a third person perspective so we see what the film maker wants us to see. Like The Cabinet of Dr.Caligari the film utilizes captions to fill in the limited dialogue for the film. Music is not relide upon in this film as much as in many other silent pictures of the period, it concentrates more on imagery to sell its messages. The main character and hero is Freder Frederson but he has very little consequence of the storytelling of the film. |
