Narration

Narration is a very important aspect in filmatic storytelling, it tells the audience what is going on when otherwise the film could seem unclear. A first person perspective can give us a sense of trust, although perhaps unwarranted and help develop the protagonist's feelings and motivations, this can be further advanced through actual narration of this character.
A third person perspective lets the audience be more judgmental yep perhaps less a part of the film. In some films a narrator is not needed and we can figure the story out as we go along and sometimes a voice can serve as a guide. No matter the style or limitations of the narration it is a key aspect when film is used as a method of storytelling.
