INTRODUCTION
Passage of time in cinematography

Most often, space and time is conceived as a cohesive vehicle that drives the cinema. As a visual and temporal art form that curates the images and sounds into an unfolded space and then a realized time, we must look at the two entities separate in cinematography. In the balance of movement and rhythm, durational space and cinematographic time are precisely the most direct apparatus of creating the manipulated reality in film.

A film is an illusion of movement built with spatial fragments. Temporal elements, such as rhythm places the movement in time, giving a shape to the space created.

The temporal elements that are used as techniques to convey time, or sometimes as a structural element can be divided into the following:

temporal order, temporal duration, temporal frequency, and temporal alienation.
