The Westmount Long Term Care Facility: Kitchener, Ontario

This is the facility we are looking at for Dad to go to immediately following his departure from KW Hospital. We are looking at a private room with request for a "basic" accommodation as soon as one becomes available.

Private quarters part two:
This is the door to a room. Same door whether private or basic accommodation. There is a "box" at each door for the residents to display their mementos and personalize their entrance.
Interior of a private room. The beds are electric with guard rails. They supply a night table and wardrobe or closet for personal belongings. Residents are encouraged to bring their own things. The two person rooms have a nice amount of space but the bed spaces are separated by a curtain that draws between them (in a nicer fashion than a hospital).
Another private room. This is a private room. I didn't get to take a photo of the bathroom, but it is very large with plenty of space for a wheelchair. Each bathroom has a sink and toilet. The shower and bath are down the hall.
This is the jacuzzi bathtub.
This is a local sitting room. It has a kitchen that is equipped with breakfast and snack foods, a TV, sitting area, access to outdoors on this ground floor, a small washer and dryer for personal laundry. The home does the clothes labelling and the residents' laundry.
