Data Collection


The data collection process and tools are outlined here. In addition to the Vital Signs tools, results from Enerpass, energy simulation software, were used to estimate the performance of the building since actual operating costs were not available or within the scope of this analysis. Data from HOBO's (light, temperature and relative humidity), handheld measuring devices, an occupant survey, and a daylighting model analysis were used to complete this study. The indoor temperature readings obtained were correlated with the outside temperature during the study period. The data obtained is outlined here:
