MADNESS, MAYHEM AND DIGITAL MANIPULATION

Digital manipulation, that being the use of CGI and animation, in films has accelerated the films effect to its viewers. What was once unable to be captured on film, can now be portrayed through the use of visual effects and look realistic. Some films are completely animated and have developed into their own genre of films. These include Renaissance and Paprika. The film renaissance with its realistic characters and settings was capable of portraying madness through the effective use of black and white. The dramatic scenes and strong emotional portrayal of the characters could not have been replicated effectively without the use of animation and CGI.
