AERIAL SHOT - a camera shot of the ground surface from an aircraft to exterior locations.
DOLLY SHOT - a shot where the background becomes bigger or smaller where the character stays the same size.
FILTERED SHOT - where a filter is placed on a camera to envoke a variety of senses and/or manipulations.
FORCED PERSPECTIVE - a shot that maniputaltes human perceptions: making objections appear at various scales.
FREEZE FRAME SHOT - where a single shot is used several times to give the allusion of still photography.
HIGH ANGLE SHOT - where the camera shoots down on an object: making it seem vulnerable or powerless.
LOW ANGLE SHOT - where the camera is shot at a low vertical angle, looking up: often at knee height.
LONG SHOT - a camera shot with a wide-angle lens that shows the entire object and its surroundings.
PAN SHOT - a camera shot that scans an object horizontally while pinned at a fixed postion.
POINT OF VIEW SHOT - a shot in film where the camera shows what a character would be looking at.
TRACKING SHOT - where a camera is mounted on a rail that follows an object or character.
SNORRICAM - a camera device that is mounted to the body of an actor that is pointed directly at the actor.
STEADYCAM - a technique where the camera is mounted on a stabilizing device; allowing for a very smooth shot.
