Ever since the creation of the robot, theories of its development began to arouse anxiety because potentially robots so life-like, so real could be walking amongst humans. These robots would become so real that we would not be able to tell the difference between a human and a robot. An un-homely feeling would arise because of our recognition of something familiar (the human form) and our skepticism towards its essence. The exaggeration of this technological invention became apparent in many of the films viewed in this course.
