The fabrication of the steel is a very critical part of the construction process. This project used a combination of concealed structural steel and Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel. The project came about prior to the release of the CISC Standards for specifying AESS. However Walters Inc. was a key player in the design of the documents and had already begun to take a differentiated approach to detailing the steel.
